A young person's future should not depend on whether they have a family safety net.
Why FlightPath exists
Many young adults reach independence without a dependable support system: a place to call home, a person to call for advice, a financial cushion, or a ride to a job interview. Those who have aged out of foster care or faced housing instability often carry adult responsibilities with far fewer resources than their peers.
FlightPath Foundation was formed in Texas to build practical, dignified pathways through that transition.
Our mission
To create pathways to stability, opportunity, and independence for young adults, approximately ages 18 to 24, navigating the transition into adulthood without dependable support systems.
Our vision
A community where every young adult has the housing, skills, relationships and resources to build a lasting, self-directed future.
Our approach to independence
- Whole-person. Housing, work, education, money, mobility and mentoring are connected, so our planned programs treat them together.
- Dignity first. Participants are adults building their own futures, not clients to be managed.
- Built to last. We are committed to sustainable outcomes, responsible governance and honest reporting.
